Meet Steve
Steve Gilleland, Chief Development Officer, joined SLIB in January 2020. His role focuses on business development, client outreach and participating in the company’s strategic planning. He previously served as managing director and head of the Healthcare Finance Group at CapitalSource/Pacific Western Bank for 16 years. He has a total of 30 years of healthcare real estate experience — specifically in the long-term care and senior housing industry — from a lending and operations perspective.
Steve earned a BA degree in Accounting and Finance from North Carolina State University and is a non-practicing CPA.
He lives in the metro Atlanta, GA suburbs and has 3 adult daughters and is an avid sports fan. He enjoys working out, biking, playing tennis and golf. Steve also volunteers at North Point Community Church and is an active supporter of the V Foundation for Cancer Research.
